% DV refers to how much a single serving of an individually packaged food or supplement contributes nutritionally to your daily diet, based on a 2,000-calorie-a-day diet. Generally, having 5% DV or less of a nutrient per serving is considered low, and 20% DV or more of a nutrient per serving is considered high.

The suggested total fat consumption should be limited to 30% of total energy intake or less. The type of fat consumed should primarily be unsaturated fatty acids, with no more than 10% of total energy intake coming from saturated fatty acids (about 200 calories on a 2000-calorie diet) and no more than 1% of total energy intake coming from trans-fatty acids.

FAQ

It is mainly good as a low calorie drink that gives you some vitamin C, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Per 1 glass, it has about 40 calories, 10.3 g carbs, 9.1 g sugar, 8.6 g added sugar, 0.39 g fiber, 4.97 mg sodium, 84.9 mg potassium, 42.6 mg calcium, 15.9 mg magnesium, and 9.76 mg vitamin C.

Yes, but carefully. Per 1 glass, the drink has about 10.3 g carbs and 9.1 g sugar, which is enough to affect blood sugar. There is some research suggesting basil, especially holy basil, may help support glucose control, but that does not cancel out the added sugar in this drink.

Some basil studies suggest basil may help improve LDL and total cholesterol, but this juice still has about 8.6 g added sugar per glass, which is not ideal for heart health.

Not much. Per 1 glass, it only has about 0.39 g fiber, which is too little to make a meaningful difference for constipation on its own. Fiber does help constipation overall, but this drink is not a strong source.
